Home-schooling and hand-feeding wild birds within a 5 minute drive of our Café

How is everybody getting on with home-schooling these days? Not only do we have a massive found respect for teachers, but also massively thankful for Coffee.

Charli and I are busy teaching and going on some awesome local adventures. There is so much to do right on your doorstep that we never knew about before. Did you know you can hand feed wild birds within a 5 minute drive of our Café? A very special experience for the kids.

The Cafe and Takeaway are currently closed but keep watching as we will post any updates on our social media. Can’t wait to welcome you all back soon to the Café.

Lockdown v2

Good Morning to all our Friends, Family and Customers,

Once again, we find ourselves in a position where we are unable to have the Café open. Hopefully, this will not be as long as Lockdown version 1. Looks like our amazing coffee, cakes and scones will be on hold for a short time.

We have taken the decision to keep the Takeaway closed at the moment. We did not take any real breaks during the first lockdown and we hope to use some of this time to focus on home-schooling and spending time with the family.

Family / Child-friendly

Our Motto within the Café is “Family is not just an important thing, its everything”. We welcome families large and small to come in and Relax, unwind and catch-up. We have kids’ activities available and a couple of cheeky wee Gnomes. If the kids can find them hiding around the Café there may even be a wee prize.

The café is accessed via 2 staircases and we also have a lift if required for pushchairs or to just facilitate easy access. If you have any specific requests or requirements, please give us a call and we will do our utmost to help.

Flying Sausage BBQ Hut – Available for private birthday parties, hen/stag parties, anniversary dinners and much more

Be as loud as you want!

Our BBQ Hut can be used for private functions or parties. A self-contained facility with all your party essentials: barbecue stove, kitchenette with 1 fridge, toilet facilities and flashing lights – all under one roof. The BBQ is ready for your arrival; we usually light the charcoal 40 minutes before your scheduled arrival time to make sure you can cook straight away.

After you finished removed the grill grates and use the BBQ as a fire pit.

Seats 8 adults during normal times or 10/12 kids.
